The NITV Charter requires locally produced content from the grass roots, across the full range of programming genres.
From 12 December 2012, you'll need to tune in to channel 34 on a Digital TV, PVR or set top box.
If you have an analogue television you'll need to connect your TV to a Digital set top box, PVR, or Digital recorder and tune in to channel 34 (previously SBS 4). If the NITV name is not appearing in your set-top box in place of SBS 4, rescan your SBS channel manually. Call 1800 500 727 if you require assistance.
NITV broadcasts on channel 180 on Foxtel, Austar and Optus.
NITV is also available for viewers in regional, remote and other areas:

NITV will continue to be available on the Aurora satellite service until 31 December 2013. SBS and the Australian Government have committed funding to ensure that those communities that currently rely on the Aurora satellite broadcast to receive television can continue to access NITV until the Aurora satellite is decommissioned on 31 December 2013. NITV is currently available on the Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) platform.
